A BILL to repeal sections two, three, four, five and six, article
twenty, chapter twenty-nine of the code of West Virginia,
one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended; and to
amend and reenact section one of said article, relating to
abolishing the women's commission.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That sections two, three, four, five and six, article
twenty, chapter twenty-nine of the code of West Virginia, one
thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be repealed; and
that section one of said article be amended and reenacted to read
as follows:
ARTICLE 20. WOMEN'S COMMISSION.
§29-20-1. Abolishment of commission.
The women's commission is hereby abolished, effective the
first day of July, one thousand nine hundred ninety-five.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to abolish the women's
commission.
